Filming is now complete for Lucky Day Studios first feature film, Unrequited, starring Michael Welch from Twilight and Twilight: New Moon. Sarah Habel, co-star of Drew Barrymore’s, Whip It, Everwood’s, Justin Boldoni, Claire Carey and David Keith from An Officer and a Gentleman, also star in the Lucky Day Studios feature production, in association with The Group Entertainment.  Directed by Jason Epperson, the first runner-up on Steven Spielberg’s, FOX TV reality series, ON THE LOT, Unrequited is now in Post-Production being edited by Brock Smith.

About Lucky Day Studios

In 2008, Jeff Day, a Marcom, Angel and Telly award winning writer/director, and Tom Lockridge, Commonwealth Attorney for the 13th Judicial Circuit in Kentucky, formed Lucky Day Studios, a for-profit company dedicated to producing feature films for theatrical release. With the goal of producing low-budget, independent feature films, Lucky Day Studios is dedicated to the establishment and growth of the film industry in the state of Kentucky by allowing Kentucky’s college and university students serving as interns and apprentices to work side-by-side with industry professionals on all Lucky Day Studio productions. This innovative business model has been proven in states like Texas and North Carolina.  Lucky Day Studios anticipates the completion of four to six feature films in its first four years, focusing on Family Films, Romantic Comedies, Action Films and Thrillers with G - PG-13 ratings.

LUCKY DAY STUDIOS is currently accepting Synopsis for feature length scripts in the genres of Romantic Comedy, Family Films, Inspirational Films and Thrillers.  Please do not send full screenplays unsolicited.
